Job Description:
Will be working on a team that makes sure new products are ready-building out alerts, monitoring and playbooks on new products; assessing service readiness; putting in automation where possible
Windows/Unix admin experience and SQL ; would also like to have some familiarity with Java and C++ but does not need to code
They use Omnibus for monitoring and would be great if they had that or other monitoring experience; IR Prognosis and Infogix would be a plus

Job Description Summary
• The purpose of the Service Readiness – Platform Analyst team is operational support of a number of internal applications/tools that are utilized for day-to-day operations within Mastercard Payment Transaction Services (PTS) as well as certificate management for the entire line of business
• These tools include Infogix Insight and iDashboard. Job responsibilities includes maintenance/upkeep of the applications as well as creation of alerts, dashboards and monitors
• Develop integrated monitoring where needed across all platforms utilizing IBM Omnibus and IR Prognosis.
• Maintain and support the IVR system. Tier I/II troubleshooting of IVR issues. Ensure PCI compliance. Perform application code drops for Release (8 per year) and as needed for emergencies, etc. Perform Disaster Recovery testing, including compliance, coordination and implementation. Add new customer’s phone numbers as needed, working closely with telecom.
• Develop automation through scripts or proprietary tools to ensure efficient operations and a strong front line support system
• Management and coordination of all the certificates within the PTS environment
• Partner with appropriate business and technical resources to drive multiple tool road maps to maximize value for the business
• Identify efficiencies within the environment through process improvement, automation and knowledge transfer
• Assist with the creation of training materials and appropriate user documentation to ensure appropriate utilization of tools/applications


• Good understanding of certificates and how they function
• Intermediate knowledge of databases such as SQL, Oracle and Access
• Advanced knowledge of Visual Basic for scripting and automation functions
• Java and C programming language a plus
• Familiarity with iDashboards and/or Infogix a plus
• Generalized development work important
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal
• Leadership experience (both formal and informal) a plus
