Job Description Summary
Basic Purpose
Join a consultative, service-based, customer-focused organization that delivers and supports IT services for the Maritz businesses. As an empowered team member with limited direction, this role will collaborate with Brand and Reputation teams, creative agencies, business unit stakeholders, project managers, system architects, business and system analysts, Office365 administrators and site owners, and application developers to implement SharePoint experiences along with broader capabilities of the Office365 ecosystem to support user and business needs. Focus areas include the corporate intranet and SharePoint online experiences for employees within Corporate Shared Services, across the Maritz Holdings businesses, and for external customers of those businesses.
Job Description
Blend of tactical, operational, and strategic responsibilities. Team-oriented. Personal contribution is indirect on costs/operation within area/dept. Ensure execution of roles and responsibilities. No direct reports. Provide input on department budget.

Reporting and Working Relationships
Reports to a Director of Information Technology. Primarily works with clients in Corporate Brand and Reputation, Maritz business unit representatives, and within other functional areas of Maritz IT Services. Collaborates with other team members delivering IT solutions. May lead and mentors more junior talent.
Principle Responsibilities
60%: Demonstrate ability to work on and potentially lead multiple projects simultaneously while managing client expectations throughout the projects. Collaborate as part of larger delivery teams which may include product owners, product managers, site owners, project managers, business analysts, architects, developers, user experience designers and training professionals. Under limited supervision, understand business goals and drivers, along with user needs and behaviors to translate those into appropriate technical solutions through various software engineering methodologies including Waterfall, Agile, and RAD. Generate technical and functional requirements through structured meetings and workshops. Facilitate design and architecture sessions with clients. Create Information Architecture and Governance Plans. Lead migrations and modernizations from non-Microsoft platforms to SharePoint Online and Office 365. Share best practices with internal team members and clients.
20%: Provide support, either first contact, or second/third level for SharePoint in partnership with internal team support staff and the Maritz Service Desk with a high degree of client satisfaction.
10%: Maintains current knowledge of the industries Maritz businesses support along with a strong knowledge of the Microsoft SharePoint and Office365 product roadmap to effectively educate team members and consult with stakeholders.
5%: Mentor less experienced SharePoint analysts/support staff.
5%: Works with IT management to prepare capital and operating budgets.

Solid understanding of SharePoint Online and Office 365 Administration
Experience Designing and architecting intranet, extranet and portal solutions in SharePoint Online
Experience with OneDrive for Business sync client deployment and content migration
Experience writing and running SharePoint Online PowerShell scripts in Office 365
Deep SharePoint product knowledge and understanding of SharePoint Online features including:
Content types and syndication
SharePoint security best practices
Managed Metadata
Content Search and Display Templates
Document management
Feature framework
Modern sites, pages, lists and libraries
Enterprise Search capabilities
Publishing infrastructure
Knowledge of Office 365 Security and Compliance features including DLP, eDiscovery, Data Retention
Ability and desire to stay current of new technologies and solutions
A minimum of 5 years experience with SharePoint 2010, 2013, and SharePoint Online Administration
A minimum of 5 years consulting experience and proven ability to gather and assess business requirements, develop and present solution alternatives, produce design and migration strategy documents, provide guidance and knowledge transfer to client staff, and test / implement an approved design.

Recommended Knowledge and Experience:
Experience with Office 365 Group, Planner, Teams
Experience planning and implementing Yammer
Experience using 3rd party content migration tools like Sharegate and Metalogix
Ability to rapidly prototype new ideas and concepts along with knowledge of human factors engineering methods preferred
Working knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5 & CSS
Bachelor’s degree (engineering or information systems related field)
