The Lead Java web developer will be assigned to TCMM and shall perform the following tasks:
Manage and provide technical leadership for Supplier’s team members.
Coordinate technical work assignments with the Bank’s Project Manager, ensuring that team members provided by Supplier possess the appropriate skill level to complete tasks according to Bank’s specifications.
Mentor and transfer, in a timely manner, technical and business knowledge to Bank personnel.
Provide technical support for system production issues.
Coordinate defect code tracking / fixing.
Translate application storyboards, use cases and web-page concept designs into functional, dynamic web applications.
Provide detailed explanation of work needed to complete tasks and time for completion.
Develop and unit test complex application web components.
Develop complex application business logic using Java.
Design, code, and integrate application business layer with external application components.
Create or update system documentation.
Candidate should have a minimum of 7 years of experience in an object oriented environment in a comparable technical environment.
Use and apply technical/business knowledge on both the job and future planning of job deliverables.
Expert on Java EE technologies (specifically JPA, Web Services – JAX-WS).
Expert in open source Microservice tech stack like Spring Boot Spring Cloud, Distributed Cache, Spring OAuth2, Spring Batch, RESTful APIs and SOAP services, utilizing CI/CD processes.
Experience on following MicroService related frameworks
Zuul for dynamic routing, monitoring, resiliency, and security
Eureka for Service Discovery
Hystrix for Circuit Breaker
Feign for Declarative REST Client
Ribbon for Client Side Load Balancer
Archaius for Configuration Management
Experience with Hibernate/JPA/JDBC etc.
Experience with Angular Framework JSON/DWR/AJAX is a plus.
Experience with Eclipse/ RSA, Oracle, WebLogic, MQ (Oracle).
Must be familiar with implementing standard best practices (e.g. secure programming, Java patterns, test first development, etc.).
Provide expert technical mentoring on the tools used in a specific project and how to get the most out of the tools.
Provide fully documented work, instruction, and training to peers as required.
Position requires US Citizen or lawful permanent resident with three or more years of US residency.
