Order# 206628 Job Title IT - Business Analyst Education Level • Bachelor's Degree RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES: • Work with Business/Product Owner to identify general scope and requirements. • Work with the business and help guide them to realize value as early as possible (establishing requirements for MVP or minimum viable product). • Work with identified business SME to understand their current process from each user's perspective along each step in the sequence to provide the most efficient and user friendly mobile solution. Understand all properties of each data element from the backend to how it will interact with the end user in the front-end mobile solution (data types, validation, workflows triggered, etc.). • Draft unique use cases based on requirements discussions to help drive building a backlog, etc. once project is kicked off. • Provide a general understanding and overview of the flow of the front end mobile solution – (work with UI/UX resource for this). • Help project team to identify risks and possible impediments. • Work with the Product Owner and Dev Team to begin building backlog. Maintain relationship and ongoing communication with Business (Product Owner) to continually understand evolving needs, risks, etc. • Lead Backlog Grooming/User Story Writing Sessions with Product Owner and Dev Team. • Working with the business to define, refine requirements as needed. • Lead Sprint Planning with Product Owner and Dev Team to define and commit work for Sprint. • Working with the business to mutually agree on reasonable scope of work for each Sprint/Release. • Create and maintain User Story hierarchy with associated Features, etc.Participate in all Agile ceremonies including Daily Standups, Sprint Demos, Sprint Retros etc. • Define/Ensure User Story standards are met. Define/Ensure Test Case standards are met. • Support UAT effort by making sure business needs are met as agreed every time shippable software is released. • Document each sprint and the work completed from one sprint to the next. • Document each release and the work completed from one major release to the next. • Serve as SME regarding the mobile application functionality from an end users perspective. • Serve as SME regarding business processes from a technical perspective. • Provide support for both Business and Development Team (communication channel between) Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written skills. • Interaction with all levels of team members including business partners/sponsors, management, and interdisciplinary teams. QUALIFICATIONS: • At least 3 years of experience working as a business analyst supporting an Agile/Scrum application development team. • Understanding Agile Mindset and Manifesto. • Experience with Scrum, Kanban, Lean, XP. Experience with Continuous Delivery Support. • Familiarity with various tools/methodologies: JIRA, Rally, Planning, Scenarios, Support Test Driven Development
