In search of a positive, coachable, reliable, solutions oriented System Administrator. Under general supervision, the System Administrator has primary responsibilities as the first point of contact for core server infrastructure. The System Administrator will work to resolve and satisfy incidents and requests, or route and escalate as necessary to ensure resolution with high customer satisfaction. The SA will assist with change tickets during and after business hours.
Respond to multiple channels of contact, including phone, email, instant messaging, monitoring and event management alerts, and portal submission of tickets to the IT service management tool.
Ensure request, incident, problem, and change tickets are accurate and complete, from creation to closure. This is includes maintaining communications with all stakeholders to achieve high level of customer satisfaction.
Resolve problems by gathering information, determining the customers’ needs, and conducting research to find a correct solution.
Follow established processes / standards and identify / propose improvements as necessary.
Assist in developing technical documentation to improve training and service delivery.
Provide after hours and on-call support as needed.
Maintain a high-level knowledge of server infrastructure.
Customer service focused with the ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language.
